The Hydromette M 4050 uses microprocessor-based technology to measure the moisture content of building materials and wood as well as the air humidity and temperature; features include: data storage, interface for a printer or direct data transfer to a PC, memorized calibration curves for 250 species of wood, memorized calibration curves for many building materials with direct display of moisture content in percents of weight and CM-%, designed for hook up of the active electrodes.

  • B50, B60 and LB70 for location of moisture distribution in building materials
  • MB 35 for measuring surface moisture on concrete
  • MH 34 for measuring high moisture levels (40 to 200 % m.c.) in conifers
  • IR 40 for measuring surface temperature, thermal bridges and dew point
  • RF-T28, RF-T31, RF-T32, RF-T36 and RH-T37 for measuring air humidity and air temperature. Also suitable for use of all Pt 100 temperature probes.

Measuring ranges:

woodmoisture 1: 4 to 100 % m.c. and automatic temperature compensation

woodmoisture 2: 40 to 200 % m.c. in conifers with active electrode MH 34

Structural moisture 1: 0.5 to 25 % of dry weight in cured building materials, with direct display (in % of dry weight and CM-%) depending on the material tested.

Structural moisture 2: 0 to 199 Digits structural moisture (scanning range)

Structural moisture 3: 0.3 to 11 % of dry weight or 0.3 to 10 CM-% in cured building materials

Structural moisture 4: 2 to 8 % of dry weight or 0.4 to 5.5 CM-% of surface moisture, with MB35

Structural moisture 5: 0.2 to 3.2 % of dry weight in set building materials with active electrodes RF-T and direct display of the converted sorption isotherms depending on the materials tested.

Air Humidity 1: 5 to 98 % R.H. with all active electrodes of the RF-T series.

Temperature 1: –30 to +169.9 °C with over 10 different Pt 100 temperature probes.

Temperature 2: 0 to +169.9 °C with infrared surface temperature probe IR 40.

Temperature 3: –10 to +80 °C with RF-T probes.
